ANNIE FOREVER
-ANNIE FOREVER is a film about love, and how love doesn’t always take the form of a romantic relationship. That friendships often are the ones that carry us through life. The film portrays a journey of choosing oneself.
Annie is a middle-aged woman in the midst of her life. She works as a hairdresser in a small, suburban town, and lives in a detached relationship with her husband. She is weighed down by loneliness in a stagnant existence, but cracks of chaos and longing exist within her. One day, an old acquaintance appears in the suburban landscape and, for the first time in a long time, Annie can feel herself. She begins to re-find her limits and gets a small glimpse into a different life.
